Our Services

Law Firms are Unique

Founded at a time when law firms were expanding in size and number, Quidlibet would be the first to anticipate a movement away from building large libraries of print resources in favor of leveraging a firm's investment in technology.

Quidlibet's law firm practice was founded on a belief in delivering value to firms that could be passed along to the firm's own clients. Small law firms and small organizations are similar to families. As time passes and organizations grow, they become more removed from the founders and often less concerned with their founders' core strengths and values. This creates a distance between lawyers and client needs.

Quidlibet remains principled in its effort to eliminate activities and investments that do not directly contribute to client value. We were pioneers and leaders in this field, and the first firm in cost reduction with an allied activity in law library reorganization. At one time, the reduction of space associated with a physical law library was a bold mobe. Even today when they understand the cost of doing so, private law firm libraries are still maintained even though they were abandoned years ago by their users.

As a pioneer in legal research cost reduction, Quidlibet tried to make management improvement desirable and affordable to law firms. We have risked our fees on a bet that we could save money for the firm, department or organization based on our experience and growing database of resource costs and contract arrangements. We proved successful.

Quidlibet Research's Strategic Advantage

In addition to putting our fees at risk against delivering results, Quidlibet has natural strength and competitive advantage. Our founder is broadly educated and has more than 30 years of experience in management consulting. Quidlibet knows the services being sold and used and how they are used. Quidlibet's principals are trained in the use of contracted services and continue to be users of these services as well.
